Fall 2024-2025 City of Kawartha Lakes Dual Credit offerings

Dual Credits are ministry-approved courses that allow Grade 11 and 12 students to earn credits towards their Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD) while exploring college or apprenticeship industry-specific courses. These credits count toward both the OSSD and a postsecondary certificate, diploma, degree, or an apprenticeship certification.

Students can earn up to four optional credits through Dual Credit courses. Additionally, students in Specialist High Skills Majors (SHSM) and the Ontario Youth Apprenticeship Program (OYAP) may gain industry-specific certifications through these courses.
