On Tuesday, September 30th, students and staff at FFSS acknowledged both National Day of Truth and Reconciliation and Orange Shirt Day. This day is designated to honouring and remembering the history of residential schools in Canada. Orange shirts are symbolic and representative of the story of Phyllis Webstad, a residential school survivor.
