FFSS Celebrates Athletic MVPs

On Wednesday, June 11th the FFSS Athletic Union celebrated athletic MVP awards and other athletic awards from the 2024-2025 season. See the gallery below for the athletic MVPs for each team.

At this assembly, we recognize the top athletes in each grade, top sportsmanship and top contribution awards. This year, the following students were awarded with these honours:

  • Year 1 Athlete of the Year: Quinn Wilson and Nick Harding
  • Year 2 Athlete of the Year: Clayre Bradimore and Hudson Cowan
  • Year 3 Athlete of the Year: Maya Ellery and Vox Wilson
  • Year 4 Athlete of the Year: Kayla Flynn and Liam Brooks
  • Top Contributions to FFSS Athletics: Jayden Bell-Fullager
  • Sportsmanship: Sydney Bell and Ben Viggers

Summer break information

All school buildings will be closed to the public for the summer break beginning Monday, July 7, reopening on Tuesday, August 26.

Beginning the week of July 14, the TLDSB Lindsay Education Centres is open to the public Monday to Thursday, 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. The Muskoka Education Centre is closed to the public over the break.

The first day of school for both elementary and secondary students is Wednesday, September 3. Note, Kindergarten students will have a staggered start.
