Brooke Lytle and Kasey Cardoni travelled to Huntsville on March 6th to take part in the PC4G challenge. The international competition held annually on or near International Women’s Day is intended to raise interest in computer programming amongst females, since they are traditionally under represented in this field.

The girls competed against 5 teams from across the TLDSB and in the words of the judges, “kicked butt in all parts of the contest” on their way to a gold medal win.

The girls were exemplary representatives of FFSS before, during, and after the competition.
